The Vivian Beaumont Society

When you make a planned gift, you are welcomed into the Vivian Beaumont Society, which was created to honor and acknowledge the dedicated friends of Lincoln Center Theater (LCT) who seek to secure the Theater’s future with a designation in their wills or other planned gifts. Named for Vivian Beaumont Allen, who made a generous founding gift to provide a lasting home for theater at Lincoln Center, the Vivian Beaumont Society recognizes other individuals who share this vision for an enduring theater at Lincoln Center. In addition to the Vivian Beaumont Theater, the LCT complex houses the mid-sized Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater on the building’s lower level and the intimate Claire Tow Theater for our LCT3 program on the roof.

Vivian Beaumont Society gifts are an important source for building the Theater’s endowment and providing crucial operating funds toward our programs. These gifts support productions across our stages, our Open Stages education program for NYC public school students, readings and workshops of new plays, and LCT3, our bold initiative devoted to producing work by the next generation of artists. Donors may designate gifts either for a specific program at LCT or for the Theater’s general operations, both gratefully welcomed by the Board and staff of LCT.

Vivian Beaumont Society members are given opportunities to become more involved with the Theater, including behind-the-scenes events and gatherings, and will be acknowledged with special appreciation in every LCT Playbill during the season and on our website (unless anonymity is requested).
